Plains Immersion
Plains immersion invites you into a landscape where the horizon opens and the sky becomes part of the experience. Grasslands, open valleys, and wildflower-covered plains offer a different kind of quiet — one shaped by distance, wind, changing light, and an unobstructed view of the world around you.
Through a series of simple invitations, you may notice the movement of grasses in the breeze, follow the sounds of birds across the landscape, explore the colors and textures of seasonal plants, watch clouds move overhead, or simply find a comfortable place to sit and take in the vastness around you.
Open landscapes can change our sense of space and perspective. Research into experiences in natural environments has explored connections with restoration, attention, stress reduction, and feelings of awe — that sense of encountering something larger than ourselves.
There is nowhere we need to get to and nothing we need to accomplish. The invitation is simply to slow down, open your senses, and allow the landscape to come to you.
No experience is necessary. There is no right way to participate, and you are always free to decline an invitation.
